50 Cent Denies Ex-Girlfriend's Rape and Assault Allegations

Grammy and Emmy award-winning American rapper Curtis James Jackson, better known to fans as 50 Cent, has refuted allegations of rape and assault leveled against him by his ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy, who is also the mother of his son, Sire Jackson.

These allegations surface amidst 50 Cent’s pursuit of full custody of their son. This move comes in light of Joy’s involvement in a lawsuit filed by Rodney Jones against Sean “Diddy” Combs, wherein Joy is implicated in connection with a sex trafficking ring allegedly operated by Diddy, with claims amounting to $30 million.

Joy took to her Instagram account on Thursday, alleging that the 48-year-old rapper had sexually assaulted and physically abused her in the past. The relationship between Daphne Joy and 50 Cent began in 2011, resulting in the birth of their son Sire in 2012, but they separated shortly after his birth.

In response to these accusations, a spokesperson for the rapper issued a statement to THR, asserting:

“The recent unfounded allegations made by Daphne Joy are evidently a reaction to my decision to pursue sole custody of my son.”

Emphasizing his primary concern, 50 Cent stated:

“My priority lies with my son Sire, and ensuring his safety remains my sole focus at this juncture.”
