New Delhi: With 913 new Covid-19 infections reported in the last 24 hours, total Tity India from Covid-19 cases rose to 4,30,27,784, according to data on the Ministry of Health Union was updated on Monday (April 4, 2022). The Covid-19 Daily Indian case fell below 1000 after 715 days.

India also recorded 13 deaths in the last 24 hours, pushing the total death toll to 5.21,358. The country also reports 1,316 recovery in a day.

The number of people who have recovered from this disease increased to 4,24,95,089, while the case fatality rate was recorded at 1.21 percent.

Meanwhile, Covovax, Covid-19 vaccine produced by the Serum Institute of India (SII), was reportedly recommended by the Covid-19 working group from the National Technical Advisory Group on immunization (NTagi) for vaccination 12 years and above, the official source said on the day Sunday (April 3, 2022).

The Covid-19 working group has now recommended to the technical sub-committees that stand in Ntagi that Covovax was included in the national vaccination program for those aged 12 years and over, said source.

Covovax was approved by Indian drug regulators for limited use in emergency situations in adults on December 28 and in the age group 12-17, depending on certain conditions, on March 9.
