Wedding bells are in the near future for the soon-to-be-married couple, Amy Jackson and Ed Westwick! The duo, who officially confirmed their romance in June 2022, recently got engaged during a romantic getaway to Gstaad.
Ed Westwick, a 36-year-old actor and musician, initially crossed paths with Jackson at Silverstone Racetrack in 2021, both attending the Aston Martin event. The actor popped the question with a specially crafted diamond engagement ring.
Following a “personal and intimate proposal,” Westwick and Jackson took to Instagram on Monday morning to share the joyous news. Jackson, 31, captioned her post with a resounding “Hell YES 💍,” while Westwick, 36, expressed on his Instagram Story, “I hit the jackpot xxx.”
Accompanying their announcements were a series of photos capturing the milestone moment. Westwick knelt on one knee on the walkway, suspended 3,000 meters high between the View Point in Les Diablerets and Scex Rouge in Gstaad. In the images, Amy Jackson appeared “shocked,” hands covering her mouth in disbelief.
Regarding their attire, Jackson sported white ski gear, while Westwick opted for earthy tones in green and brown.
After the affirmative response from Jackson, the couple posed for pictures, prominently displaying her sizable diamond ring. Unfortunately, due to a lack of close-up shots, the details of the engagement ring remain a mystery.
In addition to the engagement, Jackson is a mother to a four-year-old son named Andreas Panayiotou, whom she shares with her ex-partner, George Panayiotou.
