Police Mounted Surrey Royal Canadian said in a press release that at 9 am, they responded to the shooting report and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The injured surrender to the wounds in place, they said. At the age of seventies, Malik was the head of the Khalsa school throughout Canada. Investigators believe it is a targeted crime.

Earlier this year, Malik had given praise to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his “praiseworthy movement” to the SIKH community.
