Former Cameraman Accuses American Rapper Megan Thee Stallion of Assault

Grammy-winning artist Megan Thee Stallion is facing allegations of harassment from a former cameraman, who claims she created a hostile work environment. The accuser, Emilio Garcia, also alleges that he was compelled to witness her engaging in sexual activity with another woman, purportedly inside a moving vehicle in a foreign country.

The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, details an incident where Garcia, accompanying the hip-hop star in Spain, found himself in an SUV with Megan. According to Garcia, Megan initiated sexual activity in his presence, making it difficult for him to exit the moving vehicle. He asserts that even if he had managed to leave, he would have been stranded in a foreign land alone.

Garcia describes feeling embarrassed, mortified, and offended throughout the ordeal, as stated in the lawsuit.

In response, Megan’s attorney, Alex Spiro, indicated that they would contest the lawsuit in court, characterizing it as an employment claim for monetary compensation rather than a sexual harassment complaint. Spiro dismissed the accusations as sensationalized attempts to tarnish Megan’s reputation.

Garcia further alleges that Megan insulted and body-shamed him, contributing to his desire to leave his position due to being underpaid and experiencing intolerable working conditions.

Emilio Garcia initially joined Megan Thee Stallion as her personal cameraman five years ago, transitioning to full-time employment in 2019. The lawsuit indicates his resignation from the position in June 2023.
