Kolkata Municipal Election 2021 Results: The Trinamool Congress Tuesday enrolled an avalanche triumph in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) races, winning 134 of the 144 wards. The BJP, which hosted arose as the primary resistance gathering in the Assembly surveys recently, won three seats, while the Left Front and Congress won two each. The Independents, with three seats, finished an equivalent balance with the non-TMC parties.
Counting of decisions in favor of 144 wards of KMC started earlier today at 8 am.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said thanks to individuals of the city for the “huge” triumph. “I need to commit this victory to individuals of the state and ‘Maa, Mati, Manush’ (mother, land and individuals – the trademark of TMC). A few public gatherings like the BJP, Congress, and CPI(M) likewise battled against us, yet they were totally crushed. This triumph will show the way in public governmental issues in days to come,” Banerjee told columnists outside her home.
