The device is conveniently rechargeable, and when the battery is low, users can simply place it in a designated case for a quick power boost. Crafted from safe materials, the mouthpad offers a personalized touch, catering to individual preferences.
Compatibility is a key strength, as the mouthpad seamlessly integrates with Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, and Android platforms. With an impressive battery life of up to five hours, the device requires a mere two hours for a full recharge. The company has even engaged in discussions with astronauts aboard the International Space Station.
Anticipated for release later this year, the Augmental mouthpad is currently available for early access on the company’s website. Augmental advises against using the device while eating, although it poses no issues when drinking, as Halliwill himself comfortably wears it during such activities. Augmental envisions ongoing enhancements to the device, including the incorporation of voice and wheelchair control technology. Additionally, the company aims to extend the device’s battery life from five hours to eight hours in the near future.
