Maharashtra is set to see protests on Thursday for the arrest of the Nawab Malik State Minister in a money laundering investigation associated with the 1993 Serial Blast Mumbai accused of Dawood Ibrahim.
Maha Vikas Ministers Aghadi (MVA) led by Sena (MVA) will protest at Mumbai’s Mahatma Gandhi Smark against the Directorate of Enforcement, Ani’s news agency reported.
BJP will also protest throughout the state as a rising political line over this problem.
“After a detailed investigation in this case, the Court of the Enforcement Directorate had punished (Nawab Malik) for detainees to 3. If politicians will come into contact with the lower world, then Ed must conduct such an investigation. All political parties must support this,” former Ministerial Minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis was quoted by the PTI news agency on Wednesday.
Nawab Malik, 62, was arrested on Wednesday after being questioned in money laundering.
