Ukraine and Russia are expected to sign an agreement on Friday to reopen the Black Sea port to export seeds, increasing the expectations of the international food crisis triggered by the Moscow invasion of the Moscow. Ukraine and Russia – Both of them are among the largest exporters in the world – not immediately confirm the announcement made by the office of President Tayyip Erdogan Turkey, but the leader of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy last night indicated that ports in the area could be blocked.

Package Agreement’ proposed – which also includes fertilizer delivery – has been facilitated by Turkey and the United Nations; UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and Erdogan will be present because the letters are signed in Istanbul.

The signing ceremony is expected at 13:30 GMT (19:00 Ist), Reuters reported.

“The seed export agreement, very important for global food security, will be signed in Istanbul tomorrow under the auspices of President Erdogan and UN Secretary General MR Guterres, along with the Ukraine and Russian delegation,” Turkish President’s spokesman tweeted.

This – The first big agreement since Russia invaded Ukraine February – is a product of a two -month negotiation led by the United Nations and Turkey and will be the news that was welcomed in the midst of soaring global prices and millions of people in or near the famine.

The United States has welcomed the agreement, but a spokesman for the Department of Foreign Affairs Ned Price said Washington would focus on the follow -up of Moscow.

Like the US, Ukraine has expressed his death of the agreement. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Reuters that other rounds of discussions would take place today and that only a decision to guarantee the safety of the southern region would be supported.

Up to 25 million tons of wheat and other seeds have been blocked in the Port of Ukraine by Russian warships and land mines placed by Kyiv. Russia, meanwhile, insisted on his rights to examine all the vessels that entered for weapons.

Russia previously also demanded the appointment of several sanctions.

Ukraine still sends several seeds – through railroad routes, roads and rivers across the neighboring European Union but the volume is far below normal.

During the grain supply crisis, India has given nearly two million tons of wheat at the request of a foreign government.

This is because the government prohibits foreign sales in May, said a senior official. More than a dozen the state has asked for Indian wheat supply, including Oman and United Arab Emirates.

In a better news for the global market, Russia on Thursday restores the supply of critical gas to Europe through Germany through the Nord Stream pipe.

This is after 10 days of what is called Moscow Maintenance work but what is feared by European countries is the use of energy supply as a ‘weapon’ to eliminate sanctions on Russia. The European Union is trying to reduce dependence on Russian energy supply.

‘War without mercy’

Meanwhile, Russian troops continue to pound the Ukraine target. On Thursday, a series of artillery hit Kharkiv, which was injured by a few weeks of shooting.

At least three people were killed and nearly two dozen were injured, said the report.

Tens of thousands – troops and civilians – have been killed since Russia invaded February 24, leaving millions as refugees and increasing the concern of nuclear war.
